As a part of the process of preparing and adopting a Regional Plan of Conservation & Development, the RiverCOG & Regional Planning Committee has will hold public meetings and events designed to inform the region's residents about RiverCOG and the Regional Plan and to seek information that will guide the Plan. The schedule of those meetings and "pop-up" events will be posted on this page so that everyone will know when and where they will take place.
Meeting #1a, Lower RiverCOG Region. Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Westbrook Town Hall, 866 Boston Post Road, Westbrook 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Meeting #1b , UpperRiverCOG Region. Saturday, September 16, 2017, Wesleyan University, Usdan University Center, Daniel Family Commons (3rd Floor) 45 Wyllys Avenue), Middletown 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Pop-up Events - RiverCOG will be conducting "pop-up" events all summer and into the fall, events that will take place at area farmers markets, street festivals and similar public outings. The pop-ups will be designed to inform the public about RiverCOG and about the Regional Plan process while also gathering basic demographic information from people attending those events. That information will be incorporated to inform our process as we head toward our official first meeting on August 17, 2017 in Westbrook. Scheduled pop-ups:

Beach Pop-up, Westbrook Town Beach, Seaside Avenue; Sunday, August 6, 2017, Noon to 2 p.m. or 3 p.m.
