Meetings and Events
We've completed the initial phase of our public process supporting the preparation of the RiverCOG Regional Plan of Conservation and Development! Thank you to all of those who came out to either or both of the two meetings in Westbrook and Middletown and thank you to those who participated during the Pop-up events through the summer! Our follow-up meeting is scheduled for late January or early February of 2018. At that time we'll be presenting what we've found through our public process and look for your thoughts and suggestions on the issues that have been identified as important to you, the residents and visitors to the Lower Connecticut River Valley region. Once that meeting has been completed, we will be drafting the Plan with the presentation of the draft occurring in late May or early June of 2018. Following revision of the draft as informed by you, the public, the required 65 day comment period will commence some time in September, 2018 with final adoption occurring by the end of 2018.

The pop-ups were designed to inform the public about RiverCOG and about the Regional Plan process while also gathering basic demographic information from people attending those events.
